How Bright Beginnings Came to Be

In 2015, Theresa Christensen built Bright Beginnings Preschool & Childcare. The facility is one of the largest utilizing the social service model in Maricopa County. Not only do we focus on the children we serve, but their families as well. Education and customer service are our top priorities. Every parent, guardian, and child are family.

Though we are an early childhood development center, our services continue beyond there. We provide nutrition services, developmental screenings, sliding fee scales, and scholarship programs. We have a vast network of resources and partnerships to help you with any life situation.

Our classroom schedule provides structure and free choice to develop a passion for learning and exploration in a loving and accepting environment. Our teachers will assist students in arts & crafts, helping children explore their imaginations.

Engaging Learning Activities for Young Children

Music

Music ignites all areas of child development. We get our children involved in making music every day! It gets their body and minds to work together. Exposing children to music will help them learn different sounds and meanings of words.

Painting

Our teachers fill each child's day with many arts and crafts! They help develop their fine motor skills and creative imagination. Painting helps develop sensory and tactile skills, cognitive memory, and concentration skills.

Playground

Our outdoor play is designed to keep each age group together. In their age group, they will learn to play and interact with one another. We have outdoor equipment for every age group, and we are sure your children will have so much fun!

Learning

Every single day, your child will walk into our center wanting to learn more! Our certified teachers are here to help and conduct curricula for their classrooms. Reading, arts and crafts, music and dramatic play, writing, and much more!

Sports

Our school-age programs are filled with many daily sports and activities. They play various sports, including basketball, football, soccer, tennis, and more!

This was my children's first daycare expierence ever, outside of an hour at church or gym daycare. This transition terrified our family. I wanted to keep them home with me forever. I greatly appericate how BB staff went above and beyond to help my kids make this transition. Christian, at the front desk is a smiling face that greets you as you come in. Lenor, sends a picture every day so I can see what my little is up to. Shauna, is a kind soul who is wonderful with the kids. I wish I knew all the employees names, because everyone has been great. The staff is so friendly, helpful, and the director of the school has the most caring heart. I highly recommend Bright Beginnings! For 8 years my two sons have been attending here and I can honestly say it was the best decision I made after interviewing several other childcare facilities. My children love coming here and usually don't want to go back home when it is time to pick them up!
