Theresa, Founder & CEO:

Theresa is the founder and CEO of Bright Beginnings Preschool & Childcare, which she established over 10 years ago here in Arizona. Prior to founding Bright Beginnings, she owned and operated childcare centers in the state of California, gaining invaluable experience in the field. Theresa holds multiple degrees in Human Services, Family Therapy, and Business, which she combines to lead with both compassion and expertise of over 25 years in the field. As the Executive Director, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the center, while also guiding all business entities as CEO. Her vision, leadership, and dedication to quality care make her the heart and driving force behind Bright Beginnings.

Holly Medina, Assistant Program Director:

Ms. Holly, affectionately known by staff, kids, and parents as the "ray of sunshine and smile," has been with Bright Beginnings for nearly 5 years. As our Assistant Program Director, she plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the center, bringing energy and enthusiasm to every task. With a strong focus on Human Resources and staff operations, she leads our recruitment and retention efforts while also coaching, mentoring, and guiding both new and seasoned team members. Ms. Holly's positive attitude, dedication, and leadership make her an invaluable asset to our Bright Beginnings family.

Heather, Enrollment & Facilities Specialist:

Ms. Heather has been a dedicated member of the Bright Beginnings team for 7 years, starting as a teacher and, for the past few years, serving on our administrative team. In her current role, she oversees the center's enrollment and recruitment efforts, ensuring we meet the needs of our children and families. Ms. Heather is also responsible for ensuring our center complies with all Arizona licensing and program

requirements, maintaining the high standards of care and education that Bright Beginnings is known for.

Cristian, Executive Assistant To The Founder & CEO:

Mr. Cristian plays a vital role in supporting the entire Bright Beginnings team. As the assistant to our Founder and CEO, he helps drive the organization forward in areas such as policy development, community engagement and partnerships, marketing efforts, and staff recruitment. Additionally, Mr. Cristian is the friendly, welcoming face you’ll see as he oversees our front office operations, ensuring smooth interactions with families and visitors. His dedication and positive presence make him an integral part of our team.

Gerard “G” Media & Marketing Specialist: 

Mr. G brings a wealth of knowledge in media, content creation, and photography, helping shape the overall look and feel of our brand. He plays a key role in enhancing our presence across social media and community platforms, ensuring that Bright Beginnings' vision and values are showcased in the most engaging and impactful way. His expertise helps us connect with families and the community while maintaining a strong, vibrant brand.

Ted, Head Chef/ Kitchen Manager: 

Ted is our head chef, overseeing all kitchen and meal service operations at Bright Beginnings. With decades of experience in the restaurant and food service industry, along with a degree in Culinary

Arts, Ted brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. He is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all of our meals and menus, ensuring they are both nutritious and delicious. Ted also manages our kitchen, making sure we are fully compliant with CACFP guidelines, so our children receive high-quality, balanced meals every day.

Marcia

Marcia, Staff Support

Marcia Johnson brings over 30 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education industry. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and an A.A. in Child and Family Organization Management Administration.


Her journey began as a preschool teacher in 1998, and since then, she have held various leadership positions that have allowed her to grow and thrive as a leader in the field of early childhood education.

In addition to her work as an educator, she is actively involved in advocacy efforts focused on supporting children and families in underprivileged communities. She enjoy sharing insights through workshops and presentations, with a strong emphasis on the importance of early education in shaping future generations.

Anysia

Anysia, Co-Teacher

Anysia, is a dedicated team member at Bright Beginnings Preschool and Child Care. With a passion for nurturing young minds, she brings warmth and creativity to the classroom. Outside of work, Anysia, enjoys diving into romance novels, exploring car shows, and savoring delicious meals at her favorite restaurants. She loves staying active through walks, values her downtime, especially with a good book like "The Archer's Voice," and cherishes her restful moments and sleep. We’re so lucky to have her bright spirit at our daycare!"

Toddler 2's Program Team:

Marcia

Jamesha, Teacher

Jamesha has dedicated her career to early childhood education since graduating high school, driven by her passion to help young children learn and grow. With experience as a registered RBT and as a lead teacher in multiple preschools and childcare centers, she brings both knowledge and heart to the classroom.

She loves seeing each child’s progress and growth, and believes in creating a supportive, nurturing environment where children can thrive. Jamesha is excited to bring her energy, experience, and dedication to the Bright Beginnings team!

Preschool / School Age Program:

Christina “Ms. Chris”, School Age Teacher/ EAK Teacher:

Ms. Chris is approaching her one-year anniversary with Bright Beginnings and has quickly become an invaluable member of our team. As our School Age Teacher, she runs our After-School Enrichment Program, providing a fun and engaging environment for our older children. She also lends her expertise to our EAK classroom and is always ready to support our facilities efforts during closing time.

David Morgan, School Age Teacher/ EAK Teacher:

David has been a Child Educator for six years and currently works with the School-Age program at Bright Beginnings Preschool and Child Care. He also mentors new teachers, helping them grow and succeed in the classroom.


Before becoming a teacher, David worked as an RBT and Habilitation Trainer, supporting individuals with autism. He helped adults learn essential life skills such as cooking and cleaning, and worked with young children to reduce challenging behaviors and encourage positive growth.


Outside of work, David enjoys working out, hiking, running, gaming (mostly Destiny), reading, and writing. His dedication to learning and helping others shines through in everything he does.

Infant Program Team:

Frank, Center Assistant/ Infant Care:

Mr. Frank, affectionately known as "Papa Frank" by both the kiddos and staff, is our go-to guy for keeping everything running smoothly. A true jack-of-all-trades, he ensures our facilities are well-maintained while also offering love, care, and attention to our infants during the morning hours.
